Blue Goose Community Development Corp. will facilitate the construction of a variety of mixed-income housing. These will include zero lot line houses, row houses, and larger single-family homes. Each lot will maintain its original 40’ x 70’ lot size. The development will offer properties to rent and to own. We plan to build 150-200 residences in four construction phases.
A portion of the neighborhood will be reserved for new multi-story row housing which will increase population density by a comfortable 25%. A number of the new homes will be reserved for low- to moderate-income families. We will invite potential new residents to apply for homes, with priority given to single-parent families. The houses will be designed to closely resemble the 1920s and 1930s-era architecture of the neighborhood.
The development will create a lively and livable community, offering conveniences and services for the residents which are unavailable in non-urban neighborhoods. The vision promotes a successful, healthy lifestyle within a vibrant, active community. Residents and guests will find balance between business, life, and entertainment.
